What it does
Hope began by providing food, clothing, & shelter to people in need in our community on december 1990. By meeting immediate physical needs, hope provides people with a connection to a community of support and an on-ramp to a transformational process toward self-sufficiency.
We receive food & monetary donations from the community encompassing the school district boundaries. We, then, distribute the food to the needy who have been referred by dpss or churches in our community. We served numerous meals to the needy from our pantry. Meals were served through our holidays programs. We served 37,966 individuals with a total of 760,000+ lbs. Of food given out.
Distribution of hygiene items
Another program that we conduct involves clothing for kids where clothing was distributed to school age children referred to us by the school district. We distributed to families in need.
