What it does

Civic san diego is a non-profit public benefit corporation with the mission of managing public improvements and public-private partnership projects of the city's former redevelopment agency. Civic san diego manages the economic development and other projects authorized by the city.

Through an operating and agency agreement with the city of san diego, the corporation provides services for winding down the redevelopment agency's projects after the dissolution of the rda. During the year ended june 30, 2025, the corporation continues to work on various capital projects for the city of san diego.
