What it does

Make it home's mission is to furnish homes of families and individuals transitioning out of crisis or homelessness with donated, gently used, repurposed furnishings and household goods.

We took care of 796 households and that included 813 kids, 1,105 adults for a total of 1,918 people. That included assisting 75 foster kids! To do so, we used 876 tons of donated furniture and served over 90 agencies partnering with their social workers and case managers. In addition to households, the community spaces we furnished this year included eden housing's casa canal in san rafael, firm foundations' broadway village project in vallejo, marin foster care association, side by side, hanna center, and rainbow house. We created one full-time position.
