What it does

We facilitate equity, inclusiveness, and provide a bridge to opportunities through advocacy, education, and communication for deaf and hard of hearing people.

Bridges partnered with other organizations to oversee several programs during the year to address the needs of survivors of domestic violence who are deaf and hard of hearing. These programs included the survivor housing funds, victims of crime act, oregon housing and community services with the oregon crime victim and survivor services division, survivors investment partnership with the oregon department of human services, and a federal grant with the office on violence against women.
