Thrive program - transitions life center (tlc) is a vibrant and engaging communit creating meaningful opportunitiews for adults with intellectual and developmnetal disabliites (I/dd) in marion county, florida. Through daily activities and specialized services, tlc's thrive (teamwok, honor, respoect, independence, values, education) program provides an environment that fosters educational, developmental, and social activites to build a sense of belonging andcommunity to the special needs population. Tlc srives to provide purpose and positivity in the lives of these very special adults, tlc members.
Other programs- the tlc enterprise porograms create job training activities andskill building for members to learn in a settin gthat is supportive, caring, and creative. Members learn to recycle desktop computers, create cottage crafts, gardening & horticulture, and operations of a mobile coffe cart.
