What it does

Our mission is "empowering individuals and communities by helping people, buy, fix and keep their homes". To further this work, we provide homeownership education and advising as well as residential community lending programs to families all across minnesota with a special emphasis on the twin cities metro area.

Community lending program providing down payment assistance and home repair loans to low-to-moderate-to-middle income families (as defined by hud) who would not likely qualify for these funds from a traditional lending institution. In fiscal year 2025, 467 down payment loans were provided totaling $16,451,855 in funds. In addition, 48 home repair loans were provided totaling $1,781,535 in funds and 3 first mortgage loans totaling $361,500 in funds.
Hud approved counseling and education services were provided to families to help them buy or keep what is likely one of the biggest purchases in their lives - their home. In fy25, 854 families received these services
