During the year, Minn-Kota PAAWS provided essential veterinary services to support the health and well-being of pets and their families in the community. The organization performed 6,750 spay and neuter surgeries to help reduce pet overpopulation, completed 2,227 wellness appointments to provide preventive care, and conducted 52 dental procedures to address oral health needs. In addition, Minn-Kota PAAWS distributed pet food to families in need through its food pantry, providing the equivalent of 6 semi-truck loads of food to help ensure pets could remain in their homes. These services reflect Minn-Kota PAAWS' commitment to increasing access to care, improving animal health, and supporting families in keeping their pets healthy and cared for.
