What it does

Protection of important natural resources, open space, habitat and agricultural lands in the Genesee River watershed through the use of land acquisition and conservation easements. Continued on Schedule O. Provide planning services to landowners, assist their understanding of conservation and ecological needs of the Genesee River watershed, and understanding the need for preservation for conservation and ecological planning.

Provide planning services to landowners for protecting and conserving open space. This program is supported primarily by contributions and government grants, which in 2025 amounted to $2,111,761 and $8,652,025 respectively.
